Tom Narock is an Assistant Professor of Data Science and a member of the Center for Data, Mathematical, and Computational Sciences at Goucher College. He has a background in Earth sciences and his research focuses on data science applications within the geosciences. He is an open science advocate and co-founder of the preprint system EarthArXiv. Tom currently serves on the Advisory Council for EarthArXiv consulting with the Center for Open Science and the Earth science community regarding preprints.
