Shaina Lange (she/her) is the Managing Editor of Kidney News, the monthly news magazine of the American Society of Nephrology. She is an active member and outgoing co-chair of the Society for Scholarly Publishing’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Committee and has served on several cross-publisher initiatives to improve DEIA in scholarly publishing. She brings a decade of experience in editorial and operational roles within scholarly journals and book publishing, including leading the publishing integrity and diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at ACS Publications, a division of the American Chemical Society. Shaina holds a Master's of Professional Studies in Publishing from the George Washington University and a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University. She is based in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband Thomas and two dogs Nolan and Luna.
