Dracine Hodges is Associate University Librarian for Collections Services at Duke University. A member of Duke University Libraries’ senior leadership team, Hodges provides administrative leadership for the collections lifecycle and includes oversight of collection strategy & development, conservation services, electronic resources & serials acquisitions, metadata & discovery strategy, monograph acquisitions, and resource description. Beyond Duke, Hodges was a 2021-2022 leadership fellow of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), and a member of the American Library Association’s (ALA) Core Chief Collection Development Officers of Large Research Libraries group as well as the Technical Services Group of the Ivy Plus Libraries Confederation. She is also an elected member of the international FOLIO project’s Community Council and currently serves on the HathiTrust’s Program Steering Committee. Prior to joining Duke, Hodges was a tenured associate professor and head of acquisitions at The Ohio State University. She has published several well cited book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles focused on collections and diversity in academic libraries.
